Free Cycle Health Checks in Goole

Free Cycle Health Checks in Goole

R-evolution is a local charity operating across the Humber area promoting cycling and walking in partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council.  They refurbish and recycle bikes to benefit local communities through an increase in the take up of cycling, reduction in car journeys and an increase in health, well-being and community participation.

Pop-up events have been held in Beverley and Goole and are due to be repeated in August and September. The team will have refurbished bikes for sale and welcome any donations on the day of bikes that could be brought back to life or recycled. Plus they can offer free on the spot bike safety checks.

So if you want your bike checked out or you are interested in buying a refurbished one or donating an old one, whatever the reason pop along. The team will be ready and waiting from 9am to 1pm on Friday, 11 August, Friday, 25 August – Friday, 8 September and Friday, 22 September  at Boothferry Road pedestrian plaza.
