Yorkshire Waterways Museum – Ignite Yorkshire Youth Project – Free Boat Trips
Working with Schools, Colleges, other Educational Establishments and Youth Groups Yorkshire Waterways are holding a series of taster events for 14 to 19 year olds in January and February this year including:
- A boat trip on the water viewing Goole Docks as you’ve never seen them before, followed by a delicious lunch and an opportunity to view the displays in the Museum and view the site
- A boat trip along the canal to Pollington Lock (includes lunch on the boat) where The Canal & River Trust are replacing the lock gates. This is a rare opportunity to see the work involved in maintaining the canal system to make sure our historic canals and rivers remain open for everyone to enjoy.
Dates when the trips will take place:
January – 23rd, 24th, 25th and 30th
February – 1st, 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, and 15th
There is some flexibility with dates should any of the above not be suitable.
Please book your Group in early to avoid disappointment.
