Do you want to play Beverley Folk Festival? Here’s how
For over 30 years Beverley Folk Festival has been producing an annual weekend event offering the best new performers alongside some of the greatest established acts, it is a unique opportunity to spot tomorrow’s stars and enjoy today’s greats.
Every year a fresh and unique programme is developed which caters for all tastes and ages. Whilst British Folk music, both traditional and new, remains at the heart of the festival, the festival also feature Americana, World Music, Blues, some Classic Rock and much more. Spoken Word, Literature, Poetry, Comedy and Dance are also part of the event.
The festival has developed an exciting programme of events dedicated to, and run by, young people. Area 2, hosted by Sam Pirt (The Hut People), is a stage for the next generation of singers, musicians and bands that are just coming onto the folk scene. Playing the stage is an absolutely amazing opportunity. If you’re a young artist or band under 25 years of age and would like to be part of the festival this June then get in touch with Sam Pirt by emailing him at firstname.lastname@example.org
