A chance to join GLAM embroiderers in Goole
A new group of embroiderers was recently formed to create a new version of the very old Inclesmoor map for an exhibition in the Goole Museum – the group enjoyed their experience so much that they have decided to continue sewing together.
They now call themselves the GLAM Embroiderers (GLAM stands for Goole Library and Museum) and their new project starts on Wednesday 4 September from 10am -12 noon at the museum.
Goole Museum curator Debbie Hardy said:
“If you would like to get involved, come along to the museum to find out what we are sewing next.
“New members will be most welcome. You don’t need any experience, and instruction and materials will be provided.”
